Dr. Caron is from a rural town in southern Minnesota. She attended Carleton college for her undergraduate work and the University of MN Medical School and moved to Maine to complete her family medicine residency in Augusta at the Maine Dartmouth program. She has been practicing a full range of family medicine in the area since 2004. Dr. Caron loves obstetrics and delivers babies at the Alfond Center for Health (MGMC) in Augusta. She follows her patients at most local nursing homes including Graybirch, Glenridge, Augusta Rehab and Maine Veteran's Home. She lives in Augusta with her husband and two very self absorbed cats. She reads historical and fantasy romance novels and has been known to suffer occasional video game addictions.
Monica is a local face, from Augusta Maine. Growing up she was very active in sports at Cony High School, playing basketball, softball and field hockey. She graduated from Rivier College in Nashua N.H., where she was able to continue a successful athletic career in two sports as well as graduate with honors, and did her graduate studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Manchester N.H. She is nationally certified as a physician's assistant in the state of Maine. She is active in both local and national PA associations. She is interested in preventative health care and especially loves working with children and families. In her spare time, she coaches Augusta's next generation of softball pitchers and is mommy to two enormous dogs.
Tom Bartol (FNP) has lived in central Maine for over 25 years. Born in Wisconsin and raised in Ohio, he has worked in Alaska, West Africa, Texas, Missouri, Washington, and Mexico. He did his Nurse Practitioner training at the University of Washington in Seattle and has worked in primary care since 1994. Tom enjoys small boat sailing, tennis, and Nordic skiing as well as photography. He speaks conversational Spanish. Tom is married and has 2 sons. He enjoys working with people to enhance their health and improve their quality of life.
