Dr. Caron is from a rural town in southern Minnesota. She attended Carleton college for her undergraduate work and the University of MN Medical School and moved to Maine to complete her family medicine residency in Augusta at the Maine Dartmouth program. She has been practicing a full range of family medicine in the area since 2004. Dr. Caron loves obstetrics and delivers babies at the Alfond Center for Health (MGMC) in Augusta. She follows her patients at most local nursing homes including Graybirch, Glenridge, Augusta Rehab and Maine Veteran's Home. She lives in Augusta with her husband and two very self absorbed cats. She reads historical and fantasy romance novels and has been known to suffer occasional video game addictions.
Monica is a local face, from Augusta Maine. Growing up she was very active in sports at Cony High School, playing basketball, softball and field hockey. She graduated from Rivier College in Nashua N.H., where she was able to continue a successful athletic career in two sports as well as graduate with honors, and did her graduate studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Manchester N.H. She is nationally certified as a physician's assistant in the state of Maine. She is active in both local and national PA associations. She is interested in preventative health care and especially loves working with children and families. In her spare time, she coaches Augusta's next generation of softball pitchers and is mommy to two enormous dogs.
Lisa is a Maine native from the "County" who lives in the Augusta area for the past 11 years. She earned a bachelor's degree in Nursing from UMFK then graduated from UMO with a master's degree in 1995 and is a board certified family nurse practitioner. Her work experience includes family practice, adolescent health, occupational health, rehabilitative/long term care, and nursing education throughout the past 30 years. Lisa emphasizes patient centered care in a collaborative approach with a strong focus on preventative care and patient education. Family is equally important in both her professional and personal life. Along with spending time with her extended family, Lisa loves the outdoors including gardening, camping, biking, and kayaking. She relaxes by cooking and reading as well as working on puzzles i.e. crossword and Sudoku.
Lynn Dumont is a born and bred true Mainer who currently resides in Brunswick. Lynn is a board certified family nurse practitioner having received her Master's degree in 2010 from University of Southern Maine. For the last 10 years she has served in the Augusta/Winthrop area with a focus in chronic disease and preventative care. Her nursing background included extensive experience in home health care so it's no surprise that she maintains a holistic relationship with her patients as if she was visiting them in their homes.
Family is important to her both in her personal and professional life. In her spare time she spends time with her black Labrador retriever, Bruin, and her grandson, Dylan. She loves spending time at the beach collecting rocks and sea glass. She has a passion for traveling and hopes to continue traveling all around the world.
